1. Farm Sanctuary Groups Tweet
  1. Start on side of the classroom by teacher's desk and count off 1 through 7 to form 7 groups of three or four students. Skip empty desks of absent students.
  2. Each group will find each other, all 1's work together, all 2's etc. and make a table. Your assigned chapters are the following:
    1. Group 1: Intro/CH 1 and CH 2
    2. Group 2: CH 3 and CH 4
    3. Group 3 CH 5 and CH 6
    4. Group 4: CH 7 and CH 8
    5. Group 5: CH 9 and CH 10
    6. Group 6: CH 11 and CH 12
    7. Group 7: CH 13 and Epilogue

  1. Two main claims, one for each assigned Chapter
  2. Textual evidence for each claim
  3. 280 character Tweet to summarize Baur's overall claims supported by your brief analysis
  4. One visual to support your Tweet
  5. Rough draft to be completed today on binder paper, will finalize on poster paper on Friday
  6. Be prepared to present to the class
  7. Create a Tweet using the attached Template
    1. Open template
    2. Click "File", then "Make a Copy"
    3. Edit Title in upper right hand corner by adding your chapters in place of the word "Copy": EX: CH 1-2
    4. Create your profile using one of the animals at the end of each chapter.
    5. First 2 tweets should be the claim for each chapter
    6. Third tweet is your longer tweet of 280 characters
